Mcvitie's Breakfast Biscuits help busy folk eat on the fly

Now for us folks that make up the Lunchbox World Team, we've noticed we have less time for a proper breakfast these days. And when I say proper, I mean one like this...
Boiled egg, rolls, bread, selection of cheeses, cold meats, a full continental one if you know what I mean? This is what I dream of having each day...  The kind you only have time for either at the weekend or on holiday...

Now what I'm about to talk about today has been launched with breakfast in mind. But these don't just have to be kept sacred for breakfast. These can be a snack for any time of day, when you're on-the-go, or for us here at Lunchbox World, we're thinking our favourite time of day, you know? LUNCH!

But that said, I know with my brood, specifically the oldest two, Tuna (now 17) and Spike (nearly 15), skipping breakfast seems to be developing, dare I say it, or even admit it, into a regular occurrence in our house and I really don't like it.
The teens fail to link the fact that breakfast kick starts the day, that it helps them focus, concentrate and stops that bad mood from slowly invading their morning, or that being deprived from food means energy levels will drop and they'll start to flag.
Anyway, I will leave that for another post later this week, but for now, let's focus on these new breakfast biscuits.

McVitie's Breakfast Fruit & Oat Bakes - apple

So if I mention a flying squirrel, a new oaty bar and a tired out commuter, does this ring any bells? You might have seen the new ad from McVitie's, launching the great new range of breakfast biscuits for those of us commuters that have resorted to eating breakfast on the fly.

Let me know what you think of it... and now to a shot of the range of breakfast bakes...

Now in case you haven't seen these in supermarkets yet, let me explain the range.
There are two types of Fruit & Oat Bakes - Porridge Oats & Apple flavour, and Porridge Oats & Blueberry flavour. Each come in a two slice pack with 5 packs in a strip.
Then there's the Biscuits - Porridge Oats & Honey, Porridge Oats & Red Berries, 4 biscuits with 6 packs. And finally the Oaty Breaks - 2 singles in a 6 pack. Porridge Oats & Golden Syrup flavour or Porridge Oats, Raisin and Cinnamon flavour.
So far, we've tried the apple breakfast bakes and the blueberry bakes - they are delicious dunked in a mug of hot steaming coffee or a cup of tea. Delish x
But I'll definitely be trying the Oaty breaks next - I just love porridge oats, raisins and cinnamon all mixed up together.

So what are your tricks for eating breakfast on the fly?

Thanks again for reading!
